As a Press Setter, you will be:
- Responsible for ensuring that all presses and other equipment are safe and reliable.
- Working to schedules ensuring that operators and other resources are being used efficiently.
- Keeping an eye on trainees and new starters to ensure that they are carrying their duties out correctly.
- Using specialised equipment.
- Setting power presses.
As a Press Setter, you will have:
- Previous experience setting power presses.
<- Excellent knowledge of power presses.
- Experience using specialised equipment.
- Press guard training.
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
